Rowland has been appointed to serve on the NCAA Division II Management Council

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Julia Rowland, deputy director of athletics at Coker University, has been appointed to serve on the NCAA Division II Management Council, one of the division's primary governance bodies. The council reports directly to the NCAA Division II Presidents Council and plays a critical role in shaping the policies and procedures that guide Division II athletics.
In her role on the Management Council, Rowland will help recommend administrative policies and regulations that govern the division, while also reviewing and acting on proposals from the Division II committee structure. Additionally, the council evaluates recommendations brought forward by Division II representatives serving on Association-wide committees, ensuring that the division's priorities and perspectives are effectively represented at the national level.

"Division II provides a unique and meaningful experience for student-athletes, and I look forward to contributing to the continued growth of the division while helping to shape policies that support their success both on and off the field."

Rowland's appointment is effective immediately and runs until 2030.
