Cobras Split Tri-Meet; Set Three Program Records in Tumbling
HARTSVILLE, S.C. – The Coker Acrobatics & Tumbling team opened the meet with a strong performance in the Compulsory Event, earning a pair of 9.65 scores in the Compulsory Pyramid and Compulsory Toss heats. Despite the solid start, the Cobras were narrowly edged by Wingate in the event.
Compulsory Event Totals:
Wingate – 36.95
Coker – 36.40
Converse – 31.15
In the Acro Event, Coker was highlighted by a 9.65 in the seven-element acro heat.

The Cobras closed out the first half with a strong showing in the Pyramid Event. The Duo Pyramid posted the team's highest score of the event with a 9.85.

Coming out of halftime, Coker secured a win in the Open Toss heat with a 9.2/9.4 score.

The Cobras gained momentum in the Tumbling Event, setting program records in all three individual tumbling passes.
Tamara Steward recorded a 9.35/9.55 in the Aerial Tumbling heat, Anna Kate Barrier earned a 9.6/9.75 in the Six Element Tumbling heat and Liv Sison posted a 9.825/10 in the Open Tumbling heat. Coker won the event with a team total of 53.275.

Coker concluded the meet with a strong performance in the Team Event but fell short of a sweep, splitting the tri-meet by defeating Converse and falling to Wingate.
