HARROGATE, TENN. - The No. 7 Coker University men's soccer team downed Lincoln Memorial, 1-0 on Saturday (Sept. 18).
The Cobras offense would stay in control for most of the first half, outshooting Lincoln Memorial 16-6. The teams would remain scoreless through halftime. Coker's Luca Leonini would net the game-winner off an assist from Alex Doulos in the 82nd minute, bringing the game to 1-0.
Jasper Rump (5-0-0) picked up his fifth collegiate win between the pipes and third shutout, picking up two saves. Coker outshot the Railsplitters in the match 28-11.
