Cobras Picked 11th in SAC Men’s Outdoor Track & Field Preseason Poll
HARTSVILLE, S.C. – The South Atlantic Conference, headquartered in Rock Hill, S.C., released its 2025-26 Men's Outdoor Track & Field Preseason Coaches' Poll, with Coker University selected 11th overall.
The Cobras totaled 35 points in the poll as voted on by the league's head coaches. Lenoir-Rhyne claimed the top spot with 132 points and 11 first-place votes, followed by Catawba with 110 points and Carson-Newman with 109 points to round out the top three.
Anderson (103 points), Mars Hill (72), Newberry (71), Lincoln Memorial (65), Tusculum (54), and UVA Wise (43) completed the top 10.
Coker enters the outdoor season with a strong group of athletes ready to compete and make an impact across multiple events.
Leading the way for the Cobras, Quincy Byrd, Mason Green, Jeffrey Stiles, and Keaten Peagues were named to the SAC "Athletes to Watch" list, highlighting key contributors for the upcoming season.
With a mix of returners and developing talent, the Cobras will look to build momentum throughout the outdoor campaign and continue progressing within conference competition.
