2017-18: Competed in 11 meets during the 2017-18 season...recorded five top-ten finishes...finished fourth in the 3000 meter at the JDL New Year College Kickoff (Jan. 7) with a time of 9:35.85...set the Coker indoor 3000-meter record at the South Atlantic Conference Championships (Feb. 19) with a time of 9:19.54...set the Coker indoor 5000-meter record at the South Atlantic Conference Championships with a time of 16:22.74.
2016-17: Had one top-ten finish this season, which was a seventh-place finish in the 10,000-meter run at the Trojan Challenge.
2015-16: Collected six top-ten finishes this season for the Navy and Gold, with a third-place showing at the Winston-Salem DII Invitational in the mile run being his top performance ... He finished fourth in the 5000-meter run at Wingate (3/25) and came in fifth in the 10,000-meter run at the South Atlantic Conference Championship meet (4/15-16).
High School: Chebii was a standout cross country and track athlete at St. Joseph Boys High School.
Personal: Son of Linah Chebii and Peter Chemitei ... He has a sibling Solomon.
