Coker Looking to Slow Bobcats
The Coker women's basketball team will return to the hardwood in Timberlake-Lawton Gymnasium on Saturday (Jan. 19) to host the Bobcats of Lees- McRae in a Conference Carolinas matchup.

HARTSVILLE, SC. – The Coker women's basketball team will return to the hardwood in Timberlake-Lawton Gymnasium on Saturday (Jan. 19) to host the Bobcats of Lees- McRae in a Conference Carolinas matchup. Live broadcast coverage of the game can be found at www.cokercobras.com.
In the first competition between these two teams, Coker came out on top with a 77-58 victory. Autumn Lau continues to lead the team in scoring for the Cobras, averaging 18-points per game. Her twin sister Amber, is second on the team averaging 15-points per game.
The Bobcats will rely on Layana De Souza, who has been averaging a team high 11.8-points per game. Lees-McRae's most recently defeated North Greenville 71-58, adding to their current five game win streak.
Tip-off will begin at 2 p.m., followed by the men's game at 4 p.m.
