HARTSVILLE, S.C. – Four players scored in double figures to lead the 18th-ranked Coker women's basketball team to a dominating 95-55 victory over Tusculum inside the DeLoach Center on Friday afternoon.
Redshirt sophomore Yasmine Cook led the way with 18, while senior Shawnteanna Tillman had 17, graduate student Janay Legagneur added 14 and junior Dasia Ferguson chipped in 12. Sophomore Lynda Young and redshirt freshman Shyrique Parker each added eight points in the victory.

Coker shot 44.3 percent (39-88) from the floor and outrebounded Tusculum 62-27.

The Cobras scored 56 points in the paint and had 43 bench points.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
Coker exploded out of the gate and never looked back. The Cobras opened the game with a dominant first quarter, taking a 34-15 lead, and stretched the advantage to as many as 26 points in the second.
Coker carried a 56-37 lead into the break, fueled by 34 points in the paint and 25 points off the bench in the opening 20 minutes.
The Cobras continued to pour it on in the second half, outscoring the Pioneers 20-6 in the third quarter before pushing the margin to a game-high 42 points in the final minutes.
