Gyoni's 5th-place Leads Coker to Sixth at Final Tournament of the Fall
Senior Daniella Gyoni led the Cobras with a four-over-par 76, tying for fifth individually. Junior Gisele Morna followed with a six-over-par 78 to finish tied for 16th.
INMAN, SC – The Coker University women's golf team earned a sixth-place finish at the weather-shortened Converse Fall Invite by Founders FCU, hosted by Converse University at Woodfin Ridge Golf Course on Tuesday.
The 18-team, 90-golfer tournament was reduced to a single round due to inclement weather on Monday and Tuesday morning.
Senior Daniella Gyoni led the Cobras with a four-over-par 76, tying for fifth individually. Junior Gisele Morna followed with a six-over-par 78 to finish tied for 16th.
As a team, Coker posted a 34-over-par score to secure a top-10 finish in the final event of the fall season.
