4 Goal Thriller Ends all Tied Up
A late winner by Ella Wilke brings Coker level with #8 Catawba.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- The first half saw Catawba with most of the chances (7). However, quality was better than quantity, with Coker having two clear-cut chances that didn't come through.
- Catawba also had all of the corners in the first half. This is how Catawba scored the opening goal of the game in the 27th minute.
- The first half saw a very physical match as well, with both teams combined for 10 fouls, Coker with 6 and Catawba with 4.
- The second half is where all the drama came to the surface.
- In the 5th minute of the 2nd half, the Cobras were awarded a penalty after the Catawba defender hit the ball with her hand off of an Alexis Spivey pass. Catrinia McNeil stepped up to take the penalty. The Catawba keepers came up big and saved McNeil's penalty; however, Jocelyn Markiewicz collected the rebound and scored the equalizing goal.
- In the 80th minute of the game, the Catawba Indians got a penalty of their own after an Emma Brandt foul right on the edge of the box. Catawba saw able to step up and send Rhyan Parkin the wrong way to retake the lead with 10 minutes left to play.
- Then, with 14 seconds left in the game. Grace Sykes sent in a perfect inswinging cross into the path of Ella Wilke, who scored a picture-perfect scissor kick to level the game with barely any time left in the game to play.

The Cobras will be having their senior day next as they take on Emory & Henry at home this Saturday. The match will start at 4:30 and will be streamed on the FloSports Network. The Women's Senior Day Ceremony will be held during the Men's Soccer game during Halftime.
