Coker swept four straight singles matches to secure the come from behind victory.

HARTSVILLE, S.C.- Coker women's tennis defeated Mars Hill 5-4 on Senior Day (Saturday, April 16) to advance to the South Atlantic Conference Championships.
Jessi Campos and Sarah Elliott got Coker on the board at No. 2 doubles with an 8-5 win. The Cobras trailed 4-1 after two singles matches, but would rally to win out from No. 3 to No. 6 singles to get the win. Campos picked up a straight sets (6-4, 6-1) win at No. 3, followed up by Ragan Palmer at No. 4 (6-2, 6-1). Suzanna Mickey knotted the match with a 6-0, 6-0 win at No. 5 singles before Elliott secured the victory at No. 6 singles with a 6-1, 6-0 win.
The Cobras will move on to the South Atlantic Conference Championships at a site and date to be determined.
