How It Happened
The doubles courts were swept by the Cobras, highlighted by a dominant showing by Macias and Hernandez-Sanchez at second doubles. With the doubles point soundly in hand, the Cobras were up 1-0 heading into singles play.
Only two courts dropped points in singles (one and four) while the others all secured the victory. Macias followed up a dominant doubles showing with a stellar singles performance, double-bageling her opponent 6-0 6-0 to cap off a great day for her and the team. When all was said and done, the Cobras walked away with a 5-2 win on the road!
