Newberry, S.C.: Coker was on the road this afternoon as they took on the Wolves of Newberry College. The Cobras fell 1-4 to the Wolves with Ilona Hernandez-Sanchez getting the lone win at 1st doubles.
Top Performances:
- In doubles play, Caroline Myers and Salomé Sierra got the only win for the Cobras at 1st Doubles, winning 6-3. Ilona Hernandez-Sanchez and Andreia Semeano had a tough loss at the 2nd line, losing 7-5.
- In singles play, Ilona Hernandez-Sanchez got the only win for the Cobras in straight sets, going 6-3, 6-4.
What's Next:
The Cobras will be welcoming the Wasps of Emory & Henry next for the Coker Women's Tennis final match of the year. This will also be Senior Day for the Cobras, with the Senior Day ceremony being held before the warm-up of the men's match. We Will be Celebrating Salomé Sierra, Caroline Myers, and Rachel Grove.
