2024: Appeared and started in all 15 contests for the Cobras, serving as a mainstay as a defensive centerpiece... Recorded three defensive saves on the season... Registered her first defensive save at Limestone (9/17), before adding two more against Converse (10/13) & (10/27).
High School: Graduated from Northport High School... Named All Division, All Tournament, All Class A, 2022 NY State Champion
Previous to Coker: Transfer from Molloy University... NCAA DII Statistical Champion for Defensive Saves.
Bio: Elizabeth Hedgecock is a standout defender for the Coker University Women’s Field Hockey team. Standing at 5’0, she brings a strong defensive presence to the team. Originally from Northport, New York, Elizabeth attended Northport High School where she excelled in field hockey, earning accolades such as All Division, All Tournament, and All Class A honors. In 2022, she helped lead her team to a New York State Championship. Prior to transferring to Coker University, Elizabeth played field hockey at Molloy University. During her time at Molloy, she was recognized as an NCAA DII Statistical Champion for Defensive Saves. Now, she brings her skills and experience to the Coker University team, where she continues to be a key player on defense. Elizabeth is majoring in Psychology and is dedicated to both her academic and athletic pursuits.
