FAIRFAX, VA.- Coker men's volleyball dropped its road match at George Mason on Friday (Feb. 12) by a score of 3-0. The Cobras fell in straight sets 25-14, 25-22 and 25-15.
Artur Cabral paced the Coker offense with 10 kills, while Luke Hansen added eight of his own. Cabral also notched five digs and two blocks.
Coker hung tight in the second set, recording nine kills as a team. Coker led early on in the set and would come within one later on in the set multiple times, but could not break through to take a lead.
The Cobras will take the court again next Wednesday (Feb. 17) when they travel to St. Andrews. The Cobras defeated the Knights in three sets (25-10, 25-13 and 25-9) back on Jan. 26 in Hartsville.
