MacMillan Scores 5 as Coker tops Barton
Mia MacMillan and Kate Halcro combine for 9 goals as the Cobras notch their first win of the season.
HARTSVILLE, S.C. – Coker gets its first win of the season over Barton College of the Conference Carolinas. Mia MacMillan, Kate Halcro, and Paulina LoCasio score hat-tricks for the Cobras in their 13-3 win over Barton College.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- The first period saw the Cobras take a 3-1 lead over the Bulldogs, with Paulina LoCascio scoring not only her first collegiate goal but also her second in under 2 minutes into the game to take the lead for the Cobras.
- Coker scored 4 unanswered goals in the 2nd period with Mia MacMillan notching her first of the game early in the period. Grace Miranda had a huge final four minutes as she scored her first collegiate goal to make it 6-1, then followed up with an assist to another Mia MacMillan goal.
- Coker slowed down the scoring in the 3rd period with Kate Halcro scoring her second goal of the day, 5 minutes into the period via a Grace Miranda assist. The Bulldogs pulled back shortly after.
- In the Final period, the Cobras were deadly in front of the goal. The Bulldogs struck first, but Coker fired back with 4 goals of their own to take this match up with a final score of 13-3

Coker will be at home next as they take on Colorado St.-Pueblo on February 19th. This game is scheduled for a 4:00 PM Start. This will also be the Blue Out game for Women's Lacrosse.
